Gloria Golf Club is the largest golf resort on the Turkish golf coast. Old Course, New Course and the 9-hole slope ‘Verde Course’ is just a pitch stroke from the Mediterranean’s white sandy beaches and azure blue sea. It is a course, which over the years has grown and today the 45 golf holes form a fantastic golf course.
Gloria Old Course, which opened in 1997, spreads out through the pine forest with extremely narrow fairways. Huge canopies hang in several places over the fairways and prevents a direct stroke to the green, if you have placed yourself on the wrong side.
New Course opened in 2005 and is a combined park and woodland course. The beautiful course is laid out on a hilly terrain where narrow fairways and four large lakes are in play on some of the holes. The course offers a full five par-3 holes, where the 17th hole is a replica of the famous 17th hole at TPC Sawgrass.
Gloria Verde Course is an exciting 9-hole slope, which is often used as a practice course, but it certainly is not a walk in the park. At Gloria Verde Course there is the small detail that each hole has two tees – one from each side of the green. It actually gives players the opportunity to play the course both from the front and back, and thus you can go through an 18-hole round without any holes being played twice from the same tee.
