A raw, unspoiled landscape traced by many small bays and coves, the Datça Peninsula stretches over 80 kilometers from east to west from the mainland until it reaches the ancient Greek settlement of Knidos, a former trading port that overlooks the sea where the Mediterranean meets the Aegean. The peninsula’s north coast is low lying, with vast beaches caressed by the Etesian winds in summer; the south coast is dramatically rocky and indented. It is here one finds D Maris Bay, which occupies a panoramic perch on a narrow outcrop in the middle of an unblemished nature reserve that is ringed by beaches. Guests may admire the rugged scenery set off by the rich red volcanic deposits that dot the landscape, the aftermath of volcanic activity from the distant past, together with the dark olive and pale green almond trees, pine forests and mesmerizing blue waters.
Dining D Maris Bay
For an animated evening meal under the stars, nothing rivals the gastronomic experience of Nusr-Et. Conceived by Nusret Gökçe, aka Salt Bae, the Turkish chef and butcher sensation, the eatery is set on Bay Beach. One part contemporary steakhouse, one part show cooking, diners select choice cuts of beef and are served tableside with chefs slicing meat in dramatic fashion, adding seasoning in a theatrical manner and cooking the food in front of guests. A selection of reds on the wine list pair well with the menu of red meat dishes ranging from beef carpaccio to seared fillet.
Situated on The Bay Beach, D Maris Bay’s new venue Maris Kitchen started welcoming its guests to its cozy atmosphere. Everyday different daily specials, rotisserie, bistro and grill options from Turkish and international cuisines are waiting for you.
Inspired by the popular seaside tavern on the Greek island of Symi that has long been a favorite of travelers, Manos offers an incredible selection of seafood in an easygoing atmosphere set right on the beach. Partake in a few time-honored Greek traditions in this lively restaurant – practice a few steps of the sirtaki dance and celebrate a festive occasion by smashing plates. Bask in the friendly service and start off the meal by sampling Greek mezes, tasty salads and homemade bread before tucking into delicious plates of octopus, smoked mussels, grilled squid and lobster.
Sharing. The word itself means to us a particular outlook and concept: generosity, respect, and a transfer of knowledge and ideas. Moments, memories and culture. Sharing everything from ideas to dishes, from cuisine to service, from dusk till dawn and from family to friends in order to turn moments into unforgettable memories. La Guérite is born from this precise concept. Since 1935, a worldwide clientele has been seduced by La Guérite’s charm, authenticity, and cuisine, which is not only Mediterranean but healthy too. Nestled on the rocky cove of Sainte-Marguerite Island, in front of Cannes, La Guérite features 1000 m2 of space where you can come and discover a trendy décor and exceptional DJ performances. Alternating baking, braising, and barbecue, Chef Yiannis Kioroglou and his entire team will become creators of flavors in preparing our client’s meals, and in doing so; will make them enjoy a culinary experience that is truly second to none. In 2015, La Guérite decided to bring this adventure to the idyllic setting of Saint-Barthélemy. Located on the tip of Gustavia’s harbor, situated between stunning yachts and fishing boats on the harbor, emphasizing a sunny southern cuisine is the only option. La Guérite Saint-Barthélemy will make our clients travel from the lemon trees of Amalfis, to the Cyclades in search of our Mediterranean inspired atmosphere. Utilizing specialities from grills to aromatic herbs and marinades, Chef Yiannis Kiorglou and his team are inviting our clients for an unforgettable food experience. Whether they want to enjoy a pre dinner drink, a more casual dinner or just to relax with one of our signature cocktails while taking in our Resident DJ set, the Bar & Lounge is the ideal spot to enjoy a cocktail created by one of our expert mixologists.
